Hardware Developer, Mechatronics; 80-100% (f/m/x)

The family-owned company Blum manufactures flap, hinge, pull-out and pocket systems that are installed in furniture worldwide. Did you know that in the “Mechatronics” department, we develop and take responsibility for mechatronic products from concept to product launch? In addition to mechanics, hardware development, along with software and firmware development, forms the core of mechatronic product development

YOU

  • conceptualize, develop, and implement circuits for our mechatronic products
  • perform worst-case analyses, validate development results, and create bills of materials, manufacturing instructions, and test instructions
  • define component, assembly, and system tests and establish their testing requirements
  • qualify new components and support our serial products
  • are responsible for compliance with standards, conducting associated measurements, and subsequent documentation

WE

  • value continuous development – you have completed an HTL or a degree (FH/TU) in mechatronics or electrical engineering successfully, and ideally, you already have relevant professional experience
  • work with modern tools (Matlab, Altium, Scrum…) with which you are ideally familiar
  • seek a team member who enjoys working creatively and enthusiastically on projects and takes pleasure in developing concepts and product solutions
  • operate globally – this provides you with an exciting exposure to country-specific product requirements due to varying operating conditions
