Materials Technologist for Material Compliance (f/m/x)

The family-owned company Blum manufactures flap, hinge, pull-out, and pocket systems that are installed in furniture all over the world. Did you know that our "Product Materials" department deals with over 200 different materials and finishes, as well as numerous technologies and processes? Our material experts accompany our products in all material technology matters throughout their entire life cycle.

YOU

  • monitor and ensure compliance with national and international regulations, such as REACH
  • assess the chemical composition of product materials, closely coordinating with our material technologists
  • collaborate with internal departments and suppliers, as well as with our customers, ensuring that all product materials meet the requirements and relevant information is communicated
  • identify opportunities and develop strategies to continuously improve the material compliance processes within the company

WE

  • value solid knowledge – you have a degree (from a university of applied sciences or technical university, and we also welcome those with a doctorate) and/or several years of relevant professional experience in the field of material compliance, materials science, or technical chemistry
  • desire an independent, self-reliant and communicative individual, who impresses us with a structured, analytical and team-oriented work approach
  • offer you challenging and varied tasks within a motivated team
  • communicate with our international partners and customers - hence, we require convincing communication skills in both German and English
