Group Leader Product Technologies (f/m/x)

The family-owned company Blum manufactures hinge, flap, pull-out, and pocket systems that are incorporated into furniture worldwide. Did you know that our “Mechanical Product Technologies and Simulation” department evaluates new technological possibilities, builds technological knowledge, and makes it available to the “Product Systems” area? For our group, which deals with sliding and rolling bearingstribological systems, and general gear mechanisms, we are seeking an ambitious leadership personality.

YOU

  •  lead a team of 9 specialists in the areas of tribology and general gear mechanisms, fostering a positive attitude and supporting team members in their personal development
  •  promote and demand results-oriented collaboration within the team, ensuring continuous process improvement. Together with the two subject matter experts, you share responsibility for your team members’ professional tasks (shared leadership)
  • drive the implementation and further development of the group’s strategy, creating transparency and taking responsibility for solution-oriented execution in collaboration with the subject matter experts
  • are accountable for capacity allocation, prioritization of tasks, and projects. You maintain clarity in matters while treating people with respect
  • collaborate with our internal and external partners, understanding their needs and ensuring sustainable and efficient cooperation

  • seek a motivated individual with a completed degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable technical or scientific field
